Cargo Space Dimensions

Let’s walk through each model and break down the dimensions of cargo space in each.

Soul

The first vehicle in the Kia lineup, the Soul, is a 2-row, 5-passenger vehicle. Although compact, it still gives you a good amount of cargo space in the back. What’s nice about the Soul is that the cargo space is sunken, so you get extra space.

  • 24.2 cubic feet with rear seats up
  • 62 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down
  • Number of Rows: 2
  • Seating Capacity: 5

Seltos

The Seltos is very similar in size to the Soul, with only slightly more cargo space. It is not sunken like the Soul, but it is deeper. There is also a bit more storage in the space where the spare tire is.

  • 26.6 cubic feet with rear seats up
  • 62.8 cubic feet with rear seats folded down
  • Number of Rows: 2
  • Seating Capacity: 5

Sportage

Next up is the Sportage. Although it is also a 2-row vehicle, it offers much more space in the back than the previous vehicles. This is a great option if you are looking for a 2-row with plenty of storage.

  • 39.5 cubic feet with rear seats up
  • 74.1 cubic feet with rear seats folded down
  • Number of Rows: 2
  • Seating Capacity: 5

Sorento

The Sorento is the first 3-row SUV in Kia’s lineup. With all the seats up, you don’t have a ton of cargo space in the back, but that is to be expected when you move to a 3-row. There is a flap that you can lift up to offer a bit more storage space. This vehicle offers plenty of legroom for the passengers to make sure everyone is comfortable.

  • 12.6 cubic feet with seats up
  • 75.5 cubic feet with seats folded down
  • Number of Rows: 3
  • Seating Capacity: 7

Telluride

Lastly is the Telluride. This is the largest SUV in the Kia lineup, with the option of seating up to 8 passengers. With all of the seats up, it has more space than the Sorento, so if you’re looking for a 3-row with a little extra storage, the Telluride is worth considering. Similar to the Sorento, there is a separate compartment when you lift up a flap that gives you more storage.

  • 21 cubic feet with seats up
  • 87 cubic feet with seats folded down
  • Number of Rows: 3
  • Seating Capacity: 8

The Kia SUV lineup offers a great variety of options for all different lifestyles. With hidden storage options for the 3-row vehicles or a sunken compartment in the Soul, they do a great job in ensuring there is ample cargo space in each vehicle.
