The 2027 Kia Telluride: Just Announced, Coming Soon to U.S. Dealerships

Kia has officially revealed the refreshed 2027 Telluride at the LA Auto Show, showcasing a new design, larger dimensions and cargo space, and new powertrain options including its first-ever hybrid.

“With the launch of the second-generation Telluride, our design and product planning team had an incredible challenge: Develop an all-new SUV that was its own, unique product, while encapsulating many of the elements that made the original Telluride a historic success,” SeungKyu Yoon, President and CEO of Kia North America and Kia America states. Building on that vision, this next-generation Telluride elevates its award-winning reputation with enhanced performance, advanced technology, and premium comfort across all three rows.

New Hybrid Powertrain

For the first time, Telluride will be offered with a turbo-hybrid engine, delivering both efficiency and performance.

• 2.5L turbo-hybrid engine with 6-speed automatic transmission
• 329 horsepower and 339 lb.-ft. of torque
• Kia-estimated 35 MPG combined and up to 600 miles of driving range on the EX FWD Hybrid model
• Available heated seats in all three rows, plus optional Relaxation Seats in the first and second rows

X-Pro: Built for Capability and Adventure

For drivers looking for off-road readiness, the upgraded X-Pro trim offers enhanced capability and confidence on rough terrain.

• 2.5L turbocharged engine with 8-speed automatic transmission
• All-wheel drive with Terrain Mode for better traction across mud, snow, and sand (in certain conditions)
• 9.1 inches of ground clearance 18-inch alloy wheels with all-terrain tires
• Electronic rear limited slip differential
• 5,000-pound towing capacity with standard tow hitch

• Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (standard across trims)
• Digital Key 2.0 allows customers to use their Apple/Samsung smartphones or an NFC-enabled smart card to lock, unlock and start the vehicle

The Telluride SXP models also come handy with an enhanced Full Display Digital Rear View Mirror that provides a wider field of view for the driver.
